October is such an exciting time in New York City. Although there are so many awesome autumn events, for many of us New Yorkers there’s nothing better than getting above it all and seeing the gorgeous fall foliage. Check out these top spots in New York City to get your leaf peeping on.

Board the historic 820foot Shearwater schooner and float around Manhattan’s harbor taking in views of the buildings and, of course, the foliage. North Cove Marina, near Battery Park City, Hudson River.

Governors Island: I can’t say enough times how amazing Governors Island is. With a long promenade to take an afternoon stroll amongst the leaves and it being so close to Manhattan it really is a great get-away to frolic and see some foliage.
